Christmas time always makes me think of Harry Potter ....and other things of course, but I think it's because the holidays are supposed to be "magical times". So I decided to give my Christmas Ornaments some wings and transformed them into Golden Snitches. Keep reading if you want to know how!
For the supplies you'll need some card stock, plant wire (can be found on fake flower isle), glue gun, glue sticks, gold paint and gold round ornaments.
I took the card stock and cut two identical feather shaped pieces and then painted them gold.
When the paint has dried you can hot glue the wire to the "feather" and fold part of the wire like a hinge and attach to your ornaments, one on each side using hot glue.
To get the feathery effect take a pair of scissors and snip slits in the paper like feathers. (Be sure not to cut all the way through)
