DIY ORNAMENT TREE

I love all the Christmas and Holiday decorations I've been seeing in the stores this season - the only downside is the prices. So I've decided to DIY my Christmas decor by making my own ornament tree.

Supplies you'll need: 

• Poster board
• Glue Gun 
• Glue Sticks  
• Lots of Ornaments (inexpensive ones) 
• 8'' x 8" piece of cardboard

 

 First you will want to make a paper cone out of the poster board- I actually used an old poster from a concert! If you're not sure how to make one you can easily find out how on Google or Pinterest
For a more sturdy cone I glued mine to a piece of cardboard covered with felt. 

Then I took my big box of ornaments and started  hot gluing them to the paper cone fitting them together like puzzle pieces and starting at the bottom. This may seem a little tricky at first, but if you try to fit them before gluing it helps.

Continue to glue ornaments on the cone until you have covered the whole cone and all the way around.
