RED, WHITE & BLUE TANK DIY

I can't believe how fast this year is flying by, it doesn't seem lie it should be July already! But it's here to stay and with it comes a great holiday celebrating freedom and independence so here's a quick DIY to help you show your patriotic spirit!

For this DIY I used an old tank top and fabric paint and I used painter's tape to keep my lines nice.

Before starting I placed a piece of cardboard inside the shirt so the paint wouldn't seep through to the back. Then I used the painter's tape to mark out where I wanted my flag shape and then made a smaller square to mark the blue part of the flag.

I used the fabric paint to fill in the area with the blue color and then used a smaller brush to do on some "stars" .

Lastly I taped off the stripes and painted over them with red fabric paint and left the shirt to dry for a while.

After everything was dry I peeled off the tape and voila! Super easy and fun American Flag shirt.  Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. xoxo -Hillary
