CLEANING MAKEUP BRUSHES

This past week I started taking my online summer class "Principles of Accounting" can you hear me yawning? Because it's online I have been spending more time in front of the computer than I should, so today I decided to do something productive and give my makeup brushes a much needed deep clean.

For cleaning my brushes I just use a mild baby shampoo and warm tap water, nothing fancy.I usually place a small amount (like a drop) of the baby shampoo onto the palm of my hand and then I take the brush and wet it slightly under the water to help create a lather.

I take the brush and brush it into my palm in circular motions. Then I rinse the brush under the water and swirl it in my hand under the water until the soap and dirt are all gone.

Once each brush is done I lay it on a towel to dry for about twenty-four hours before using them. I find this method of cleaning to be the simplest and cheapest way to clean my makeup brushes and I would recommend washing  your brushes at least every two weeks. xoxo -Hillary
