For today's DIY I have yet another bag project! I was inspired by this new TV series based on the younger Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City called The Carrie Diaries.
Like Carrie in the show I started with a plain leather bag (Target Clearance yay!) and I pulled out my box of nail polish and used the white to make the "stain" spot (from the show). Then I just used the various colors and did dripping, flicking and whisping(?) motions with each bottle of polish.
It's really that easy and it is super fun to do. Of course make sure you're either outside or in a covered workspace since this can get a little messy.
I love how the bag turned out, so retro and chic! My lovely youngest sister helped as my model for this purse (and got to keep it as her reward!)
