Typically when you are reading a magazine you find a few things that really inspire you and the rest is just.. well there. Here's an idea on how you can save that inspiration without all the clutter.
Sounds artistic ,right? It's totally simple and I really don't know why I didn't do it earlier. All you need is a simple three ring binder-I love my pink sparkly one!
and a pack of page protectors, got mine at Target.
Okay so here's what you do...
1. When you get a new magazine, while looking through it flag the pages that inspire you.
2. When you're done- rip those pages out (carefully) and put them into a pile
3. Now go through the pile again and take out anything that you might have flagged on impulse or changed your mind about.
4. Take the pages you want to keep and put them into the slip covers ( might have to trim to size) and clip them into the binder.
Voila! You have condensed your magazines into a simple notebook that you can revisit for outfit ideas or make up tips anytime you need them!
Now I know this sounds like a lot of work but really once you get into a pattern it become very easy and keeps down the clutter.
- EXTRA TIP!
Before you go and recycle those leftover magazine, like I hope you were on your way to do!
What makes up about 75% of those fashion magazines ?? Advertisements! Yes those giant things that take of two whole pages of a magazine. Well good news for you they do have a use!
Rip those out too (carefully) and use them to wrap small gifts! You save on gift wrap and you have a creative package!
I hope this gives you some organizing inspiration! xoxo - Hillary
